About
Hello! I am Ghali, a final year Ph.D. Candidate in Operations Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I am advised by Prof. Retsef Levi.
My research aims to inform operations-focused public and regulatory policy design through advanced analytics. I am particularly excited about socially impactful domains including agriculture, public health and e-governance. Depending on the context, my work leverages different methodologies in machine learning, statistical modeling, supply chain management, risk management, and econometrics.
I enjoy collaborating and have been involved in multiple academic and industry partnerships such as the Food Supply Chain Analytics and Sensing initiative and the MIT-Takeda program. My prior industry experiences include finance, at BNP Paribas and Rothschild & Co, healthcare, at Clinica International, and transportation, at MBTA.
Before my Ph.D., I received a Master of Business Analytics from MIT and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique (Paris).
I am on the job market 2024-2025!
